Today was Dave's 2nd day on the job as a Store Manager. They are setting up a brand new store with all the shelving and auto parts. This morning Dave had a shelving upright fall on his head. It left a 2 1/2" cut that sent him to the ER for a few hours. He ended up getting 6 staples holding his head together. Thankfully they didn't have to shave any of his hair (he's trying to hang onto all of it that he can). 
So, in a week or so he gets to have the staples removed. Sounds painful to me.

Holy Cow Dave!!! Be careful. Are you able to take off work for a little while since you have staples in your head? feel better. I'm glad Jeanne is there to nurse you back to health! Looks gross. But interesting. Are the staples giving you a headache? Oh. and one other thing... when your blog is the very last on my blog list, it means you should update it Dave. :)
ReplyDeleteI actually had staples for my c section... they aren't all that bad. but they are gross.
ReplyDeleteDavid actually went back to work just after getting out of the Hospital. He also went to work today... no pain. He just has to put some neosporrine or some sort of antibacterial ointment on it and wash it with soap and water each day. He reported that neosporrine with pain reliever works really well.
ReplyDeleteMan... what a stud! Going right back to work. That's dedication. I showed Chris the pictures and he almost threw up. lol. He wouldn't do well in a medical profession. He should stick to the law. haha
